IAG Administrator Course Overview

The IAG Administrator course provides students with an understanding of the IAG product and features. The course leads students through a series of hands-on exercises in configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of application gateway environments.

The course covers all aspects of product administration and customization to ensure preparedness for various real world environments.

Who Should Take This Course?

Application gateway deployments involve multiple IT disciplines, therefore MBR recommends that IT managers/administrators from the following areas take this class:

• Networking
• Security
• Application Administration
• Helpdesk Managers

Who Teaches This Class?

Classes are delivered by MBR consultants who have years of vendor level IAG experience as former employees of Whale Communications & Microsoft. (Read more about MBR). The trainers vast field-experience allows them to apply real-world knowledge to the training sessions. Areas of trainer expertise include not only IAG planning and configuration, but also firewalls & VPN, authentication, encryption, and experience with many common third party applications like Exchange, Sharepoint, Domino, Citrix, etc.

Location and Travel

Training takes place at a NYC training center located at 71 W 23rd St. MBR recommends that training attendees stay at a hotel in Manhattan. Further, MBR recommends no rental car as subways & taxis are reliable and abundant.

Schedule and Cost

Classes are sheduled on demand. They typically run 9am - 5pm, but usually start at 10am first day and end a little early on last day to allow for travel. Cost per seat is $2195. Open registration is conducted thru 2 weeks prior to course date, and will continue beyond that only as space allows.
